In its bid to enhance the fuel efficiency of its product portfolio , Maruti Suzuki is reportedly considering to roll out cars with added stop-start technology to the vehicle. This technology, which is said to boost fuel economy by around 5-10 per cent, will be pricier by Rs.10,000-20,000 to Maruti's existing model's price. There are media reports that India's largest passenger carmaker is in talks with Bosch to provide their patented technology to them . Maruti will be selling the micro-hybrid versions along with its existing models.
