Mahindra launches CNG version of Maxx Maxi Truck for Rs 3.79 lakh


Mahindra & Mahindra on 26th May, 2009 has introduced the CNG variant of its hugely successful Maxx Maxi Truck. The vehicle is priced at Rs. 3,79,900/- (ex-showroom New Delhi),and addresses the need of a large section of small and medium scale enterprise businessmen and traders for a vehicle which is competitively priced and environment friendly. With a large loading area of 36 square feet and a payload of 820 kg allows the owner to ferry a larger volume of heavier goods per trip, resulting in greater earnings and fewer trips. The Maxx Maxi Truck CNG, thus, offers owners the opportunity to expand the geographical scope of their business.

Indian auto engineers find new roles at international R&D centres

As earlier reported that Indian auto giant Maruti Suzuki recently picked talent from Detroit, it is also becoming increasingly a new trend where global auto-makers are also picking up talent from their Indian R&D and development centres for posting at their international headquarters. NYK Line and CONCOR sign MoU for auto transport over rails

NYK Line (India) Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of NYK Line, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) to establish a joint venture for the transport of automobiles over rail. Both companies will have a 50 percent stake in the new venture.
