TAL Manufacturing Solutions establishes multi-level automated parking facility at Tata campus in Pune

TAL Manufacturing Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors, on 31st July’09, has established TAL-Vertipark, a unique automated multi-level vertical car parking system at Tata Motors campus at Chinchwad in Pune. The TAL-Vertipark, a tower, is so designed that it maximises parking area for a variety of cars/ SUVs/ MPVs, using minimum ground space.

Toyota Kirloskar introduces the new next generation Camry in India

Toyota Kirloskar Motor today rolled out the facelifted Camry in India, which would be available in four grades and priced in the range of Rs. 21. 26 to 23. 40 lakh (ex-showroom, Bangalore). Available in both A/T and M/T versions, the facelifted model has a 2.4L 4 Cylinder VVT-i engine which delivers 167PS @ 6000rpm and a maximum power of 224Nm @ 4000rpm.

Second Gulf Cup Dirt Track Racing Round1 to kick off in Jaipur on 12th Sep'09

Gulf Oil Corporation, on 31st July’09, has announced that its second Gulf Cup Dirt Track Racing will begin with the first of three rounds on September 12-13 at Jaipur in Rajasthan. Gulf Oil Corporation India Ltd, which staged the Gulf Dirt Track Challenge in 2003 and 2004, and Gulf Dirt Track National Championship in 2005, 2006, 2007, have again stepped up to give two-wheeler racing fanatics a chance to show off their skills in a safe and competitive environment

Suzuki unveils 2010 Kizashi sports sedan in the US market, destined for India also

As it is gearing up to celebrate 100th birth anniversary this year, Japanese auto giant, Suzuki Motor Corporation has unveiled the new 2010 Kizashi sports sedan in the US market now. Known primarily as a maker of small vehicles and high-performance motorcycles, Kizashi is the company’s first entry into the all-wheel-drive sport sedan segment.

Tata Motors undertaking feasibility study for Indonesia operations

It is most likely that Tata Motors will be the third major Indian automobile company after Bajaj Auto and TVS Motors to foray into the Indoanesian market. Tata Motors after having gainined a sizeable presence in the African and other overseas markets is now exploring the possibility of marketing its cars in Indonesia
