Fiat's Bravo launch in India looks dicey

According to reports in the media, a senior representative of Fat India has said that it is unlikely to launch its globally- renowned model-Bravo in India, due to the sudden downturn in the auto market. If launched, Bravo would have attracted nearly 100 per cent import duty, just like its three-door hatchback-Fiat 500 (which is retailed above Rs. 13 lakh) in India. It is to be mentioned that The Fiat Bravo and Fiat Brava are small family cars produced by the Italian automaker Fiat from 1995 to 2001.
