Goodyear has launched its much-awaited ‘DuraPlus’ tyre in the Indian market for the passenger value segment. Designed to last upto 100,000 km, it incorporates Goodyear's innovative TredLife Technology, the tyre delivers longer mileage without sacrificing any of the safety and performance objectives that are at the core of all Goodyear tyres.

Maruti MPV codenamed 02 could be released by October 09

Maruti Suzuki India seems set on expanding its portfolio by moving into the Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) segemnt by releasing one based on the Versa platform, by October 2009.
The company, however, refused to divulge any details regarding its specifications and features, and other details. While the company is yet to take a call on pricing, industry sources indicate that it will be around Rs. 6-8 lakh. According to The Hindustan Times, the MPV, codenamed O2, is currently at an advanced stage of design and would be rolled out from Maruti’s Gurgaon plant, where its micro van, Versa, is also manufactured. Once launched, it would be pitted against other MPVs like Toyota Innova, Mahindra XyloChevrolet Tavera, Tata Motors' upcoming 'Indicruz' etc.
