New Audi R15 TDI debuts at 24 hours of LeMans, France

German auto titan, Audi AG, has introduced its new R15 car for the ongoing 2009 24 hour Le Mans race. The 24 Hours of Le Mans (24 Heures du Mans) is the world's oldest sports car race in endurance racing, held annually since 1923 near the town of Le Mans, Sarthe, France. Commonly known as the Grand Prix of Endurance, it is organised by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) and runs on a circuit containing closed public roads that are meant not only to test a car and driver's ability to be quick, but also to last over a 24 hour period.

2010 AutoExpo in India to have West Midlands auto companies, says British paper

Maruti Alto to be made available in African and Latin American markets

Buoyed by the overwhelming success of its premium compact car-A-star in Europe and domestic market, Maruti Suzuki is now gearing to launch it in new markets of Africa and Latin America in the near future. There are plans to sell in Algeria which is the biggest market in Africa, besides Chile, Mexico, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Nepal and around 50 other markets, where it has sales and distribution network.
