Three-day Goodwood Festival of Speed begins on July 3, 2009



The Festival of Speed gets underway this coming weekend from July 3rd to 5th, 2009. Regarded more as a tribute to motorsport than as a serious race, it has been always described as a cross between the Monaco Grand Prix and Royal Ascot. This year it is going to play host to the 17th such event at Goodwood Park estate in UK and the theme this year is 'True Grit - Epic Feats of Endurance'.

Porsche hybrid version of Cayenne SUV to be released by 2010

German luxury high-performance manufacturer, Porsche is all set to introduce globally the hybrid version of its mid-size luxury sport utility vehicle-Cayenne-by 2010. At the IAA 2005, Porsche announced it will produce a hybrid version of the Cayenne before 2010.
