BMW had unveiled its X1 concept car at the Paris Motor Show last fall. Piaggio to roll out scooters in India by 2011-12

Piaggio Group, which has recently inaugurated its first manufacturing facility in Vietnam, where it will produce 125cc and 150cc Vespa LX scooters, has said that it will also be rolling out scooters in India in due course of time. Volvo Trucks India secures order for 125 FM trucks from Vijay Leasing Company

Volvo Trucks India has secured an order for 125 trucks which is the company’s largest order since being established in the country, from Vijay Leasing Company in Hyderabad. An order for 125 Volvo FM trucks has been placed to be delivered in the summer of 2009 for use in coal and steel mines in southern India. It is to be mentioned that the aforesaid leasing company already owns 108 Volvo trucks.
