Maruti Suzuki looks for about 15 per cent sales from Indian hinterland

On the sidelines of launching its new car Ritz, Maruti Suzuki has recently said that it is eyeing to achieve 12-15 per cent of its total sales from the rural areas across the country in FY 2009-10, vis-à-vis per cent in the last fiscal. The company has also indicated that it has seen over 100 per cent growth in the rural market's share in total sales during last fiscal.
