Amtek Auto denies plans to acquire US-based Visteon

Amtek Auto, on 19th June, 2009, has clarified that American auto component giant Visteon`s investment bankers have not approached the company for the sale of its plants and businesses.The announcement was made with reference to a news item appearing in The Economic Times titled 'Ford Parts Supplier looks for India Buyer' which stated that American auto component giant Visteon`s investment bankers have approached Delhi based auto parts major Amtek Auto for the sale of its plants and businesses.
