Anand Mahindra is the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 winner

Anand Mahindra, is the vice-chairman and managing director Mahindra & Mahindra, was named the ‘Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2009’ at a function in Mumbai on February 16, 2010. Furthermore, Mahindra will represent India at the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur of the Year Award’ function at Monte Carlo, Monaco, in May 2010. It is to be mentioned that Ernst & Young India launched the awards in 1999 and earlier recipients of the award include N R Narayana Murthy, Ratan Tata, Mukesh Ambani, Sunil Bharti Mittal, Brijmohan Lall Munjal, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Subhash Chandra, Anil Agarwal and Tulsi Tanti.

Mahindra XYLO Mileage Marathon winner Khattar gets mileage of 27.7 km/litre of diesel

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), the market leader in the utility vehicles segment in India, recently organised a unique XYLO Mileage Marathon, a special Mahindra Top Gear club initiative, for its customers in Delhi. Intended to highlight the vehicle's superior mileage feature, the drivathon saw participation from 60 XYLO families and engaged them in an effort to generate enhanced customer acceptability and endorsement.

Toyota's Land Cruiser Prado wins Desert Dash 2009

The Desert Dash 09, featuring premium street legal SUVs and sedans exclusively in a rally format for the first time, was won by the team comprising of L. Khosla and Mr. A. Sharma, both first time rallyists, driving a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

Chevrolet Cruze wins WTC Championship
