Auto companies have reasons for cheer for another US$ 2 billon refill for CARS programme

Close on the heels of announcing a US$ 2.4 billion grant for the development of electric vehicles and the batteries to be used in these EVs, US President Barack Obama has signed yet another US$ 2 billion extension for the popular 'Cash for Clunkers' program.
