Nissan unveils Micra at 2010 Geneva Auto Show, to be launched in India in July'10

Carlos Ghosn, chief executive officer, Nissan Motor Co. unveiled the all new Micra, the fourth generation of the iconic city car, at the 80th International Geneva Motor Show. Boasting breakthrough packaging and small-car engineering, the all-new, fourth generation Nissan Micra (known as March in Japan) is on course to create a whole new set of industry standards. Unveiled today at the Geneva Motor Show, the Micra has consistently won praise and success for in Europe, Japan and other markets, gaining a reputation as a reliable, stylish, accessible compact car enjoyed by a wide cross-section of customers. The new Micra has been designed to build on that trend – in 160 countries.

Jaguar to unveil the fastest XK ever at 2010 Geneva Auto Show

Tata Motors-owned Jaguar will unveil the latest dramatic evolution of its supercharged XKR coupe at the Geneva Motor Show in March. This XKR delivers a significantly raised maximum speed – up to 174mph from 155mph – and bold styling changes that create an evocative and unique supercharged Jaguar.The XKR Coupe unveiled at Geneva showcases two new optional performance and styling packs – Speed Pack and Black Pack - that are introduced to the XK range at 2011 Model Year. Jaguar customers have the option to personalise their vehicle to create a car that offers even greater performance without compromising the refinement and luxury for which every Jaguar is renowned. By raising the XKR’s maximum speed the new car has extended its sporting credentials taking it even further into supercar performance territory.

Defense Land Systems India unveils its products at 2010 DEFEXO

Defense Land Systems India, a joint venture between Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and BAE Systems, that will soon be operational, today unveiled its range of vehicles including Mine Protected Vehicle India [MPVI], the FH77 B05 Advanced Howitzer, etc at DefExpo 2010, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. It is to be mentioned that the will be manufactured at the Defense Land Systems, India plant at Prithla near Faridabad.
