Hyundai India opens dealership in Hyderabad

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has inaugurated a new dealership–‘Mody Hyundai’ situated at Survey No: 33, Kompally Road, Medchal Highway -7, Near Bowenpally Check post. Secunderabad. This is the 17th dealership in Andhra Pradesh taking the total number of dealers in the Southern 2 region to 24.
Promoted by Nihar K. Mody, the new dealership is spread across a built up area of 50,000 sq feet with 3S facility (Sales, Service & Spares), and boasts of a capacity to showcase the entire range of Hyundai cars. Exclusive customer and separate driver’s waiting lounges are also available.

Ford India opens 28 dealers in 24 cities in 24 hours to ready for Figo launch next month

Ford India, preparing for next month’s launch of the all-new Ford Figo, today opened 28 new authorised Ford dealer facilities in 24 cities, improving market availability and service facilities for its full line of vehicles. The new retail stores bring Ford’s dealership total to 164 facilities located in 97 cities across India. In the past two years, the number of cities with a Ford outlet has jumped more than 30 percent. New facilities have opened in New Delhi, Sangrur, Haldwani and Gwalior in the North; Durgapur, Dhanbad and Guwahati in the East; Hyderabad, Chennai, Warangal, Vellore, Salem, Vijayawada and Malappuram in the South; and Bilaspur and Mehsana in the Western region. New showrooms and workshops also are now located in Jaipur, Thane, Ahmednagar, Pune, Vapi, Ahmedabad and Cochin.Download the original attachment.

First Indian showroom of JLR to open in Mumbai on June 28, 2009

Even though its ultra-cheap car –Nano- continues to hog the limelight, Tata Motors, is gearing up to officially launch its Jaguar and Land Rover brands in India on June 28, and will also be inaugurating the marquee company’s exclusive showroom at Ceejay House in Worli, Mumbai on that day. After its Mumbai launch, JLR will be its way to Benguluru and then to Ludhiana. The newly-formed Premier Car Division, within Tata Motors Passenger Car Business unit, will assume responsibility for the distribution of all Jaguars and Land Rovers in India. This flagship facility will offer a range of both Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles and aims to establish a benchmark experience in luxury car sales in India. Rohit Suri, who has extensive premium automotive sector experience, has been appointed to head the new organisation and is leading plans to develop a dealer network through 2009 and 2010.
