On July 12, 2009, Red Bull racing driver, Mark Webber clocked his maiden Formula One win at the Nürburgring motorsport race track at the 2009 German Grand Prix thus becoming the first Australian to win a race since Alan Jones in 1981. The 32-year old driver drove his No. 14 Renault F1 car to the lead after the second round of pit stops
